Ryan Foland and Ric Franzi – Learning to Avoid, Mitigate and Manage Unintended Consequences

When you are the boss, you likely know the least about what is really going on in the company. Decisions you make could have unintended consequences that could make or break your business. In today’s show, I had a blast interviewing Ric Franzi about his new book Killing Cats to Find Rats. His book, which is available March 28th, dives into a conversation, research and examples of how “unintended consequences” impacts your business. But this show was not all business. We had fun applying Ric’s S.E.C.U.R.E.D method to college students who are on the search for their dream job. I have known Ric for years and I admire his dedication to making a lasting positive impact on the lives of business leaders through the power of peer learning.

His work has been featured in national media such as Inc.com, CNBC, American Express Open Forum, and the local publications Orange County Register and Orange County Business Journal. He is the author of the landmark book Critical Mass The 10 Explosive Powers of CEO Peer Groups, the first ever book written about the value of CEO Peer Groups ®. His second book, The Power of CEO Guiding Principles, is now in its third release. The book features over 100 CEOs sharing insights into their guiding principles. Lots of great nuggets in this episode, so get ready and “Get Notified!”
